Delta Environmental Consulting (ABN 59 167 105 261) was established to service local salt and agricultural businesses in the delta of the Fitzroy River in Central Queensland. The principals had been working in academia and corporations across Australia for several decades and saw a niche for specialist advice on the unique requirements of operating in estuarine wetland habitats. In 1993 the business moved to South Australia, where it has been based since.
